Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an original Certificate of Completion before they leave.
Class times: 9am-6pm = 9 Hours
DMV requires eight hours of instruction, not to include any breaks...Any company not meeting this requirement is not in compliance with DMV, may be considered fraud, and could invalidate your certificate. Be careful...

We give an hour's worth of breaks: ten minutes in the morning, forty minutes for lunch, ten minutes in the afternoon.
We have the 8 hour DMV approved Driver Improvements Clinics, as well as the 2 part Reckless Aggressive (RADEP) courses available.
We also have the DMV approved eight hour online Driver Improvement Clinic course available. Course and final exam are done online with the certificate emailed to you. No more coming in to take the exam!

Please note: We do not do "Behind the Wheel" or "3X Fail" type classes here.

Welcome!
The goal of the course is to provide drivers with collision prevention techniques and promote attitudes of mutual understanding, courtesy, and cooperation with others on the road.
We offer the National Safety Council certified eight-hour Defensive Driving Course DDC-8 (Va), which is approved by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles and accepted by Virginia Courts.
The 9am - 6pm course time includes 8 hours of instruction not to include the breaks, as required by DMV, and allows for a 10-minute break in the morning, 40 minutes for lunch, and a 10-minute break in the afternoon.

We've been teaching the National Safety Council's DDC-8 defensive driving courses for over TWENTY years.
Our staff includes the National Safety Council's DDC-8
"2009 Instructor of the Year".
One of only 13 chosen from a field of over 9000 instructors worldwide.
We recently received the National Safety Council's DDC-8
"2018 Training Agency of the Year Award"
All of our Instructors are NSC certified to teach the DDC-8 (VA) course.
We also have NSC certified Instructor Trainers, we teach the teachers!
WEEKENDS/WEEKDAYS
Classes are conducted at various locations usually Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. through 6 p.m. See schedules above for details.
